Lisa Stevens has been nominated for a 2010 Betty Mitchell award for Outstanding Choreography for her work on The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at Theatre Calgary. The Betty Mitchell Awards, named for a pioneer of Calgary's theatrical community, Dr. Betty Mitchell, were started in 1998 to celebrate and honour outstanding achievement in Calgary's professional theatre community. The BEE also has been nominated for Outstanding Production of a Musical, Outstanding Performance by an Actor, and Outstanding Musical Direction.
